My entire career has been driven by a simple belief: every single child can thrive when they are given the right environment, the right tools, and a rock-solid foundation.
From the Classroom to Specialized Tutoring
Before I started Guided Path to Success LLC, I spent over a decade working deep inside the educational system. I started out as an Exceptional Student Educator (ESE) teaching K-5 students in Connecticut and Florida. I absolutely loved my students, and I was incredibly honored to be named Teacher of the Year during my time in the classroom.
While teaching, I realized I wanted to do more for students who struggled to read, so I completed a rigorous, three-year intensive training program to become a certified Wilson Reading System Dyslexia Therapist. This means I am fully certified to guide students step-by-step through the entire 12-step Wilson program.
Later on, I stepped into early intervention as an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist and Community Agency Lead right here in Northeast Florida. I earned a specialized Florida credential in coaching caregivers (FL-EPIC), which completely reshaped how I view teaching. It taught me that my job isn't just to work with children—it's to uplift and empower the adults who love them. I am also a Direct Pay Step up Provider in order to make specialized tutoring more accessible to more families.

My Approach
Rebuilding Confidence, Together
I look at learning a lot like cultivating a garden or tackling a thoughtful home restoration project. Many kids who struggle with reading have spent years "patching over" their gaps by guessing or trying to memorize words instead of addressing the root causes of the reading gap.
In my tutoring sessions, we strip away the guesswork. Using the structured, Orton-Gillingham-based Wilson System, we go straight back to the basics of language and rebuild those reading skills step-by-step.
But true, lasting growth doesn't just happen during a tutoring session. I truly believe that parents are a child's most important teachers. That’s why I don’t just work with your child; I partner with you. We will work side-by-side so that you feel fully equipped with the exact strategies and insights you need to confidently support your child’s unique learning style throughout the rest of your busy day.
